For this necklace I have used the semi-precious stones of natural black onyx along with highly polished Green Agate and Red glass, all colours associated with the base centre and grounding, combined with 4 distinctive decorative beads, adding a round silver tone focal bead and a red tassel to bring it all together. Black Onyx can be helpful if you want to work on changing a bad habit or release old injuries. In Ancient India they believed black onyx protected the wearer from misfortune and instilled courage. While Green Agate, one of the earliest stones used for healing, is said to bring good luck and was a popular talisman in ancient times, as it was believed to have magical powers to quench thirst and protect against fever. The colour Red symbolizes our basic survival and physical needs at its core. It also represents love and passion in and for life connecting with the energies of Mother Earth.
