This centre relates to Cosmic Consciousness and is the centre where we connect spiritually to that. The Third Eye centre is Purple/Indigo and is located between the eyebrows but in at the centre of our skull. This is where we connect to our inner vision, our inner knowing and insights and spiritual awareness comes from this centre. The Throat Chakra, very important to us, is Blue or Light Blue the centre for our communication with the outer world. From here express our inner selves, our creative expressions, our ideas, come from here. The Heart Centre, the most important Chakra to my mind. It has two colours associated with it, Green traditionally and now pink as well. More and more we are asked to come from the Heart. Go into your heart to find your truth in any given situation. It is the highest centre for Unconditional Love and Compassion which must begin with ourselves so we can then direct it outwards to the world. The Solar Plexus centre is Yellow, as in the Sun. This is the core of us, it is our Power Centre and when we connect from here we get in touch with our inner wisdom. The Sacral centre or Chakra, is Orange, the colour of vitality and life. This is where our creativity comes from; it is the pleasure centre which includes our sexuality and our creative expression in its most high form. The Root is Red at the end of our spine, is where we connect to Mother Earth; it is first and foremost linked with our basic survival instincts. This is where our trust is tested.
